What are Wedding Favours?

Wedding Favours are usually given as gifts to the women wedding guests.  They are often placed as a table decoration, or given individually by the bride. Although some of the customs surrounding wedding favours are quite traditional, many people have used them in exciting new ways. For example, wedding favours embroidered with the names of your guests can be used in place settings to show seating arrangements; and wedding favours can be filled with the traditional almonds or lavender, or with chocolate and other confectionary. Perhaps you have ideas for other fillings to delight your wedding guests.
